We begin what is known in some church circles as “Ordinary Season,” the longest season, the church season that goes from the day of ascension all the way up to the beginning of advent, with a couple of special days thrown in. 

As we enter into this ordinary season, we do so with poetry and song searching for God in the ordinary.
