Good Friday Cross Walk - Fri. 4/2

The cross is a strong symbol of the Christian faith. Christ's final steps to his crucifixion took him through the streets of Jerusalem carrying the cross on which he would die. Simon of Cyrene was forced to carry the cross when Jesus no longer could. To remember the depth of this sacrifice we will be carrying a cross through the streets of Minneapolis as part of Good Friday Worship. The Cross Walk is a moving experience and I welcome all of you to participate in this event. We will meet at the front door of the Music Box Theater at 5:30 PM. Our route will go along city streets and end back at the Music Box for Good Friday Worship at 8 PM. All participants will have a chance to carry the cross along the way. What are you hungry for? Sunday Message Series: July 26 - August 23

What are you hungry for?

How you answer this question depends on you, and only you. No one can tell you what you are hungry for, it’s a primal feeling, so primal you sometimes don’t even know what you’re hungry for? The answer to the question is different based on your current state, do you have a physical hunger, emotional hunger, spiritual hunger? Which begs an additional question, how do you quench this hunger?

Jesus answered this way, “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.” Matthew 5:6

Righteousness?!, Now the question is even more complicated? For 5-weeks we will look at the following hungers . . .

July 26 – Wanting my own way.
August 2 – To be fed
August 9 – A miracle.
August 16 – Wisdom and Understanding.
August 23 – Strength to meet each day and every situation.
