Children's Ministry

Spirit Garage hosts a weekly children’s ministry during Sunday Worship gatherings for children toddlers to 6th grade. Children are invited to start the morning in the worship space with their families and then are invited part way into the service to join in children’s activities in the Music Box lobby. Children then return to the worship space after the message is over. For more information, contact Children’s Minister, Melissa Johnston.

Emerson Spanish Emersion Center Weekly Childcare - Tues. 5/25 - 6/1

Support one of our Partners-in-Giving Emerson Spanish Immersion Learning Center by leading games and activities for students as their parents participate in a Parent/Family Workshop. This is a weekly running through June 1, Tuesdays 6-8:30 PM. Attend one or commit to all of them. If you have children, they are invited to attend. Gena Koeberl of Spirit Garage and Heather Roth Johnson of Bethlehem staff will lead lively Bible discussions while children experience their own Bible study. There is plenty of time to play, swim, relax, canoe, make a craft, sing, campfire, and more! ALL AGES are invited to join the fun this summer at Family Camp!

Amy Santoriello’s Godspeed Celebration — Sun. 8/17

Spirit Garage has been blessed with the leadership and faithfulness of Amy Santoriello over the past 3 years. Amy graduated from Luther Seminary in May and has accepted a position for the Florida/Bahama Church Office working with Youth and Young Adults. Amy recognized the need, then created, and lead the Sunday Morning Children’s Ministry for Spirit Garage. To celebrate, Amy has requested a Tea Party - Sunday, August 17 from 11:45-1:15 PM, at the Loring Arts Center in Loring Park, just 3 blocks west of the Music Box Theater. Spirit Garage Children's Ministry Brunch - Sat. 6/14

Spirit Garage has almost 100 people when counting all children, youth, parents, and adults concerned for kids. We’ve been blessed this year with Amy Santoriello’s leadership. She is graduating from Luther Seminary in May and her hope is this ministry not only continues but expands. Come and share your thanks, thoughts, and dreams for the younger ones among us. Come for the Celebration Brunch at Bethlehem Lutheran Church and then prayerfully consider signing up for a couple Sundays to help assist our Children’s Ministry this Summer.
