Merry Christmas and may the peace of God fill you and your home this season. Thank you for your generous support of what God has been doing through Spirit Garage in the past year as we continue our work helping people love God and love others.
With your help we have been able to move to a new home at the Music Box Theater giving us many more available seats for new people. We have welcomed the arrival of many new friends in the past year and have also said goodbye to loved ones. We have worked hard to make a difference in our community through our support of The Bridge for Runaway Youth, The Dwelling Place, Feed my Starving Children, Habitat for Humanity, Emerson School, Rock the Cause, The Clare House, The Minnesota AIDS Project, and many others.

Stewardship and Partners-in-Giving Meeting is open to everyone. Your invited to joins us for our next meeting Thursday evening, October 25. We'll get the statements and 3rd quarter letters mailed out and then go through the other items of business:
- Recap Volunteer project for Bridge
- Volunteer opportunity at the Dwelling Place
- Plan for our Partners - next year and beyond
- Recap Next Decade Dinner
- Financial position of SG as of 3rd quarter with info from the Dinner
- All Community Up-Date at worship
- Helping out with counting money on Sunday mornings

You’re Invited to the Spirit Garage Next Decade Stewardship Dinner Saturday, October 6, 2007 from 5:30 - 9:00 PM at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 4100 Lyndale Ave. S. Minneapolis, MN.
By the grace of God and the generous support of hundreds of people, the first 10 years of Spirit Garage have been amazing! On October 6th, we will celebrate the great work that God has done in our first decade as a community and explore how your financial partnership with Spirit Garage will help make the next ten years even more incredible.
During the evening there will be opportunities for you to make financial pledges, fill out auto giving forms, and to make one time gifts, as well as entertainment provided by Spirit Garage Members.

We will be gathering 7 PM on Wednesday July 18th, in the office work room at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 4100 Lyndale Ave S Mpls to prepare the second quarter Stewardship mailing an to discuss the financial health of the community. We will also get an up-date from the Partners-in-Giving Champions and talk about upcoming volunteer events for the quarter. Please contact Melissa at 952-239-2444 for more info or for directions.
