Seriously, Inquiring minds want to know.  It just might be an alien substance.

I believe research has shown it to be a radical species of a sugary plasmoid substance.  Either that or Love.  Ngu-Hey...

It is puzzling and disturbing that the filling inside twinkies does not obey the same thermal laws as most other solid substances.  It has a much higher melting point - as demonstrated by the deep fat fried twinkies at the fair, and a much lower freezing point - as demonstrated up at the Sawbill checkpoint last February.

Sugary plasmoid?  That's what they want you think!!!

The mystery of sugary fillings in Twinkies is supassed only by that of the goop in Hostess Cupcakes. Twinkies have an weirdly artificial banana flavor (hence the alien worry- probably justified) ........but Cupcake filling has little flavor, which is even more disturbing - what is it hiding????
