Whether it’s alcohol and drugs – or work, sex, exercise and attention – we all “worship idols.” What we expect to give us strength, leaves us feeling diminished...maybe even weak and defeated. All are invited to a reading and discussion group that will explore the relationship of human limitation to divine grace. We are meeting Mondays through March 10, at 7pm (No Meeting February 11). February 18 – Admitting Powerlessness/Surrender/Letting Go, “Bill’s Story” from “Alcoholics Anonymous” and “Step One” from “Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions.”.
