2nd Annual Minneapolis Polar Bear Plunge on March 1, 2008

Our team name is the Spirit Garage Dip Sticks and we are currently looking for some dippers. Not only we will get to invigorate our bodies with a plunge into Lake Calhoun on Saturday, March 1st; but we will also be raising money for the Minnesota Special Olympics.  I can see that we've already collected some sweet mullah!  If you're interested check out the Minneapolis page of the website...

If you want to be a Dip Stick...
On the left side of the page, click "Find a Team"
Select "March 1st"  "Minneapolis"
Find "Spirit Garage Dip Sticks" under "Select Team"
Click on "Join This Team"
Fill out the form and join the fun.

If you'd rather support a Dip Stick...
Follow the steps above, but instead of "Join This Team" just click the little blue icon by your favorite dippers name and make a pledge on that persons behalf with your credit card.  You can post a little note of encouragement too. Or you can do it the old fashioned way, simply donate to your favorite dipper in person, by cash or check.

Requirements include:
1. Registration
2. Raise at least $75
3. Sign a waiver and. . .
4. Spend a few seconds in 36°F water.
