September 2nd -Last Sign-up Day for SG Charity Fantasy Football

Dearest Spirit in Action pigskin fans,
                                                                                                                   
The deadline is FAST approaching for you to sign up for the Fantasy Football League.  If this is going to work we need to have 12 teams enlisted by 6:00AM on Labor day (so basically Sunday at the latest).   So far we only have 5; St. Halas, Flying Pigs, Job, Spirit Garage and Defending Champ.  I think just having a team name like Defending Champ in the mix should be enough to motivate any of you sitting on the Fantasy Football Fence to join in and try to dethrone! 
                                                                                                
Go to nfl.com and you'll need to register with them first, but that's really no big whoop. (Info on sign-up http://www.spiritgarage.org/node/785) Then follow the instructions you've already been sent.  You do NOT need to know much about football or the players because we are set up for an automatic draft so the computer will do it for you.  I think I can safely say that it's moron proof.  The only thing you need to make sure of is that the players you select to represent your team each Sunday are not on a real NFL team that has a bye.  Other suggestions are praying (but I honestly don't think this is a real high priority for God), cross your fingers and have FUN!   
                                                                                                                
Oh, and then there is the little detail of the $10.  This is our "fee" that collectively will be donated to the charity of our winners choosing at the end of the season.  You don't have to pay me before you sign up.  (I haven't even paid myself yet)!  However, I strongly suggest that you pay me shortly there after... lets say with in the first couple weeks of play.  Please don't make me consider the consequences for delinquency!
