Hey Rob!

Just a quick note to let you know that I attended Rev. Mitri’s presentation last Tuesday, and I learned quite a few new things about the Palestinian conflict, and how the college will help so many people in the future.  I learned about how difficult it is for him at checkpoints, and dealing with the Israeli  soldiers and government.  Fortunately, my good friend Jan, (whom I invited to attend with me, and whom who briefly met at last year’s Gala)  is leaving for Israel on August 30th, and arranged with him and his assistant after the lecture,  to visit in D.C. and at the college…(they are leading a small missions group there), so I will get first hand feedback about Rev. Mitri’s ministry,  and how the wall that has/is being  built around Bethlehem is impacting the lives of the people there!  I appreciate you remembering to put this out to our SG community, since I would have had no idea to attend or check out the schedule of events ..... thanks for including it in our SG refueling!

Yours in Christ,
Elizabeth
