Orienteering Clinic, (Beginners to Experts)

Where: Hyland Lake Park Reserve, Bloomington, MN (Directions found online www.mnoc.org)

When: Saturday, March 25, 2006, 11:30 AM - 3 PM

Cost: $10 or $13(day of) Registration is on line. www.mnoc.org or call Three Rivers Park District at (763)-559-6700. CHOOSE 12:30 pm BEGINNERS CLASS during registration.Pre-registration March 20th required.

Spirit in Action will meet in Parking lot of Hyland Lake Park Reserve at 11:30 am. Bring your own sack lunch. Email spiritinaction@gmail.com or call Tom Hatlestad at 763-577-2437 for more information.

What is Orienteering: Orienteering is the skill of finding your way through a series of checkpoints on an unfamiliar course using a map and a compass. Typically a course is set in a wilderness area and the participants are timed as they complete it.

Spirit In Action will do more Orienteering events over the summer.
