The Dwelling Place ministry will be celebrating 10 years of service to families who have experienced the tragedy of domestic abuse with its annual fundraising banquet and silent auction. The theme of this year’s banquet is, “Seasons of Transition, Celebrating 10 years of God’s healing and provision.” The celebration will be held in correspondence with the National Domestic Violence Awareness Month, 5-9 PM, October 10, 2008.

The Dwelling Place is a faith based shelter ministry for women and their children who are fleeing domestic violence. Its mission is to bring safety and healing to individuals affected by the tragedy of abuse through Christ centered programming and community education. They are a non-profit Christian Ministry supported entirely by caring individuals, churches, foundations, corporations and one of the Spirit Garage Partners in Giving.
