3rd Annual Fantasy Football for Charity - Sign up by Tues, 9/2

Submitted by Rob on July 31, 2008 - 1:12pm.

3rd Annual Spirit Garage Fantasy Football League for Charity - No experience necessary! This is an automatic draft league that also has a "Best Line Up" option available. It couldn't be any easier.

The winner of the Fantasy Football league chooses the charity or non-profit of it's choice.  Entry fee of $10.

For those people not familiar with Fantasy Football Leagues (FFLs), here is the jest of it.  FFL is a game based on the actual performance of current players in the National Football League.  A FFL player will pick his “fantasy” team by selecting a number of individual players from multiple teams in a draft format.  Then, points are awarded each week according to how the individual players perform (number of touchdowns, passes completed, etc).  The FFL players will play a different person from the fantasy league and wins and losses are recorded each. The best record and performance in the playoffs wins.

The only cost is the $10 gift to charity. Sign up by Tuesday, September 2. Contact: Bo Johnston

2007 Winner = Minnesota Food Share - Champ Joe Stuntebeck.
2006 Winner = Global Health Ministries - Champ Steve Jackson

  • Location: Online - Fantasy Football Site to be Determined
  • Start: 2 Sep 2008 - 12:00am
