If you did not know Spirit Garage has an Eco-Stewardship team.  We have been just getting started.  Some things we have done up to now:

1.  We had an "Earthkeepers Guide to the Universe" Lent study earlier this year

2.   Spirit Garage was the Coordinator for the Earth Day Clean up of Loring Park. 

3.    We also handed out energy efficient light bulbs at worship one Sunday.

 We are a group interesting in being Great Stewards of the Earth God gave us.

I wanted to see if we can get a meeting together go over what was learned at the GREAT Creation Care Workshop a couple of us went to on July 15th and then  also plan for the future for our team.

Here is an agenda I put together for the meeting. 
1.  Show an overview of the Creation Care Workshop.

2.  Discuss the Seasons of Creation, a four-week Season of Creation as part of the church year (normally in September), with liturgies, sermons, scripture focusing on a relationship with nature (www.seasonofcreation.com)

3.  Discuss a Fall Retreat with Spirit in Action. Within 1.5 hours of MPLS. 

4.  Go over our action plan for the Year.

5.  Discuss how Spirit Garage and Bethlehem can work together to purchase eco friendly cleaning items and Sunday morning supplies.
