Feed My Starving Children Service Event - Tues. 3/30

How can you help the Haitian people or other starving children in their time of need with a nurishing meal.   Volunteer at Feed My Starving Children filling bags with a rice mixture formulated to nurish starving children.  You may label bags too.   For info on FMSC go to the website http://www.fmsc.org/.

Good Friday Cross Walk - Fri. 4/2
Start: 5:30 pm
End: 7:30 pm

The cross is a strong symbol of the Christian faith. Christ's final steps to his crucifixion took him through the streets of Jerusalem carrying the cross on which he would die. Simon of Cyrene was forced to carry the cross when Jesus no longer could. To remember the depth of this sacrifice we will be carrying a cross through the streets of Minneapolis as part of Good Friday Worship. The Cross Walk is a moving experience and I welcome all of you to participate in this event. We will meet at the front door of the Music Box Theater at 5:30 PM. Our route will go along city streets and end back at the Music Box for Good Friday Worship at 8 PM. All participants will have a chance to carry the cross along the way. Earth Day Clean up at Loring Park - Sat. 4/17
Start: 9:00 am
End: 12:00 pm

Come help clean up Loring Park during the Minneapolis Earth Day Watershed Clean Up sponsored by the Minneapolis Parks Board!

Spirit Garage hosted the clean up at Loring Park last year and we were able to clean Loring Park and a 3 block area outside of the park, including Emerson School Yard and Playground and all the way up to the Music Box Theater.
