Spirit in Action has formed a team to brave the elements and Plunge into Lake Calhoun to raise money for the MN Special Olympics. The “Dip Sticks” will take the plunge on March 6th. Team membership requirements include only the ability to sign up, raise at least $75 through online fundraising, possess a fun loving spirit and a touch of bravery. Check out our team website at SG Dipsticks "find a team" then "Minneapolis" and selecting "SG Dipsticks." If taking a frozen dip is not your style (did I mention the hot tub?), consider making a pledge to one of the Dip Sticks or coming out to support the jumpers. Contact: Bo Johnston

Join a 5-Week small group book study “Messy Spirituality” by Michael Yaconelli. The author suggests that "imperfection, unfinishedness, and messiness are, in fact, the earmarks of true Christianity. Real Christianity is messy, erratic, lopsided and gloriously liberating. Books are available at the Music Box Theater during worship or during your first small group gathering. Hi I'm Alex! Garage Prov is back to help those to use their whole body to reflect on deep messages.  My training as an improvisational actor has improved my ability to think quickly, interact with people genuinely, and see the world as full of opportunities to say YES! Lets explore these together. Meet me after Service upstairs in the light studio or for more details Contact me: Alex Cleberg 719 660 0448.

All the way upstairs in the light booth right after worship!

Take heart, my friends. You are in good company. You, with all of your faults and imperfections; you, with your defects and failures; you, with your hang-ups and emotional scars; you, with your weaknesses and your defeats; you, with all of your blunders, brokenness, and floundering: you are God’s beloved, God’s favored, the disciple whose name God calls, the one Jesus prefers to hang with, eat with, play with, talk with, cry with, and laugh with. You are the one whom the holy God of heaven and earth longs to spend time with. You are all of this and more. You always have been. And you always will be.
