Spirit Garage is a grassroots ministry with people sharing their gifts and talents. This gathering from 9 AM - Noon, Saturday, January 23 is for the community to review 2009 and preview 2010. With grassroots ministry everyone gets the chance to be involved. There are over 80 people active in ministry in and through Spirit Garage. We encourage all members to make themselves known by participating in a small group or on a ministry team. Workshops include - Worship Leadership, Hosting, Children’s Ministry, Small Groups, Service Events and more. Put your faith into action. Sign up by Sunday, January 17, 2010. Souper Bowl Sunday is truly reason to celebrate. Before many of us gather with way too many munchies to watch overgrown, overpaid, over(fill-in-the-blank) boys play the Super Bowl, come to worship on Sunday, February 7 and take part in a Souper Bowl that makes a difference. The 2009 Spirit Garage Fantasy Football League will be making soup hoping you’ll consider making a donation. This years charity of choice will be chosen by Jay Davis with the winning team Wildfan. Congrats Jay for being the 2009 Spirit Garage Fantasy Football Champion. Let’s help him celebrate by joining in on the festivities of Souper Bowl Sunday. Housed at the Biwabik Pavillion, you will enjoy 2 full days of skiing/snowboarding while hanging out in the evenings, playing games, watching movies and doing homework.You are personally responsible for your lunches at the ski lodge and ski/snowboard rentals. Check out Giants Ridge website for group rental rates. Reserve your spot: $75 non-refundable deposit and Parental permission slip.
