Don’t miss this opportunity to connect with one of our Partners in Giving! Two women from Sharing the Dream will be visiting from Guatemala on Sunday, August 16th. Learn how Chonita Sojuel Mendosa started the Elder Center in Santiago-Atitlan, Guatemala. She is a wonderful example of a grassroots ministry that serves her brothers and sisters in Christ. Diana Ramirez, the Sharing the Dream director in Guatemala will tell you about the other groups they partner with to help families in Guatemala develop sustainable work through their artisan crafts. These ladies are wonderful and would love to meet you on Sunday. Please come and let’s show them our Big Door hospitality. Grassroots Ministry Bootcamp - Sat. 8/22

Everyone who is active with Spirit Garage or curious about getting involved is invited to a morning of refreshment, connection, and learning/teaching. There are a number of opportunities from helping with worship, leading a small group, working with children’s ministry, running the soundboard, etc. You can get the scoop of "how to" at our Grassroots Ministry Bootcamp, so you can confidently sign up for one of the many ministries and be a blessing to God by sharing your talent and passion with Spirit Garage. How you answer this question depends on you, and only you. No one can tell you what you are hungry for, it’s a primal feeling, so primal you sometimes don’t even know what you’re hungry for? The answer to the question is different based on your current state, do you have a physical hunger, emotional hunger, spiritual hunger? Which begs an additional question, how do you quench this hunger?

Worship at the Lake Harriet Bandshell followed by a Picnic - Sun. 8/30

Break out your rollerblades, ride your bike, grab your favorite 4 legged and 2 legged friends and join Spirit Garage at the Lake Harriet Bandshell for Worship.  Afterward come up the hill and enjoy the BBQ.
