What does it mean to be Re-Born? Does it make life happier? Is it simply insurance that you'll get into heaven? Does it make you an expert of who's in and who's out concerning the afterlife? More importantly does it decide who you can hang out with in this life? Join us for this 4-Week Message Series: ReBoot - Learning Jesus' Operating System; Sundays, May 24 - June 15.

The Spirit Garage film production group, SG Films, will be participating in the 48 Hour Film Project in Minneapolis, June 13th-15th.

The 48 Hour Film Project is a "wild and sleepless weekend in which you and your team make a movie--write, shoot, edit and score it--in just 48 hours."

The technical crew is largely in place, but we still need acting and/or singing talent. For those with acting experience who would like to participate, please contact me, Chris Powers or Wade Barry 651-336-5898.

The film genres are randomly assigned Friday evening, so we will know what we need sometime Friday night. We expect to begin shooting Saturday morning and continue throughout the day. We may need the actors for reshoots or overdubs during post-production Saturday evening and all day Sunday.

Thanks,
Chris Powers

She is graduating from Luther Seminary in May and her hope is this ministry not only continues but expands. Come and share your thanks, thoughts, and dreams for the younger ones among us. Come for the Celebration Brunch at Bethlehem Lutheran Church and then prayerfully consider signing up for a couple Sundays to help assist our Children’s Ministry this Summer. Materials and Training provided, including a Risk Management Class. Childcare will be available during the training. Contact: Amy Santoriello, Children’s Minister, 651-646-2823

All poets, writers and spoken word performers. We are bringing a poetry group to Spirit Garage. The idea is to form a group of writers who will meet once or twice a month to share our writing. There is potential for some pieces to be used in worship and possibly published. If you have never written poetry or performed before don't let that stop you - Everyone is welcome! The vision for this poetry group is a writers' workshop offering support to encourage and inspire fellow writers to find their Spiritual voices. I find that writing from the heart is the best. First Gathering is Noon, Sunday, June 29, at the Loring Park Dunn Brothers. Hope to see you then. Feel free to contact me: Chad Maglich 651-428-8842

Jesus promised, "My yoke is easy and my burden is light." Matthew 11:30. So why do some Christians make life so difficult and heavy for others?
