Many new residents come from homeless or unstable housing situations and are in need of basic household items. Spirit Garage is working to collect items for “Welcome Baskets” for new residents now through May 18.

Prayer is an amazing gift from God. It comes in many forms and styles. Join me for a morning of celebrating God's presence in you through movement. I'll be offering a free yoga class on 9:30-11 AM, Saturday, May 10. The class will be held at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in S. Mpls. The class will include a short meditation and breathing exercise, as well as a traditional asana practice. Come dressed in comfortable clothing and be prepared to move. What is Orienteering: Orienteering is the skill of finding your way through a series of checkpoints on an unfamiliar course using a map and a compass. Typically a course is set in a wilderness area and the participants are timed as they complete it. More info found at www.mnoc.org
