Many new residents come from homeless or unstable housing situations and are in need of basic household items. Spirit Garage is working to collect items for “Welcome Baskets” for new residents now through May 18.

Spirit Garage gathers for worship every Sunday at 10:30 AM
at The Music Box Theater, 1407 Nicollet Ave, Minneapolis.

The Holy Spirit's Four P's is our topic over the next four Sundays. What is the Holy Spirit? What difference does it make in our life and in the world? Why should I care?

Well if you're looking for "Peace" greater than the world can give, (Apr. 27), "Power" that builds up instead of tearing down (May 4), a "Place" where you belong no matter where you are (May 11) and "Purpose" living a life you love (May 18), then you might want to connect with the Holy Spirit.

We hope you'll take the time to join in on the conversation on Sunday mornings and online - by sharing your questions, comments, suggestions, and concerns.

Days are growing longer, temperatures are rising, and buds are swelling full. And inside an old movie theater on Lake Street the creation that will be the 34th MayDay Parade is starting to form anew.

In a truly amazing act of community art-making, the story will take root and grow as hundreds of people from all walks of life come together, creating the glorious floats, banners, and masks for this year’s Parade and Ceremony. Come for the Parade and Festivities, volunteer at the Spirit Garage Booth or help build the Life Size Puppets at one of the Workshops. Parade begins at 1 PM (starting at 25th Street East traveling south down Bloomington Avenenue) and the Closing Ceremony is at 3 PM in Powderhorn Park (15th Ave & 35th Street East).
