Thanksgiving is a time of sharing love with family – family to which we were physically born or spiritually born. And, for those of us who are unable for whatever reason to be with our physical families this day of sharing can be a day in which we feel left out. It need not be! Are you ready for Christ? That's right, Christ - without Jesus' birth we would have no Christmas. Advent, the four Sundays leading up to Christmas, is a time to prepare to meet Jesus again, for the first time. Come and enjoy the Advent Event, November 25, 5:00-6:30 pm at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Iverson Hall (below the sanctuary). This is gearted toward families of ALL ages, that means everyone is invited. We will make Advent wreaths (hope to have Spirit Garage Radials available), share Advent ideas, make and bake a pizza.
