Spirit Garage will be gathering for our annual worship event at the Lake Harriet Band Shell on Sunday June 10th at 10:00 AM. Break out your roller skates, grab your favorite 4 legged and 2 legged friends and join us in the park. After the worship gathering, we will have a pot-luck BBQ in the park. Thrivent Financial has once again asked Identity Crisis to be a part of one of their family events, and they are inviting the entire Spirit Garage community to attend! Join us at the MN Zoo on Sunday, June 10th from 4:30 to 9 p.m. Identity Crisis will be playing from 8 to 9 p.m. Admission is just $2 per person, military families pay no entrance fee but will be asked to show their credentials. You do need a ticket to get in, as the zoo will be closed to the general public. Tickets are available in the lobby or you can download one here. The church with the Really Big Door needs a lot more Hosts at our new site. Spirit Garage small groups have done a wonderful job hosting, but there are a few more doors to open at the Music Box Theater. We have determined that we need at least 11 people every Sunday to help welcome people, bring treats to share, serve drinks and treats, hand out worship menus, and help with communion, along with the invocation and prayers. WHAT IS Geocashing: Geocaching is an entertaining adventure game for gps users. Participating in a cache hunt is a good way to take advantage of the wonderful features and capability of a gps unit. The basic idea is to have individuals and organizations set up caches all over the world and share the locations of these caches on the internet. GPS users can then use the location coordinates to find the caches. Once found, a cache may provide the visitor with a wide variety of rewards.
