Who is The Bridge? 35 years ago a remarkable place was created to care for the safety of teenagers who ran away from home. The Bridge for Runaway Youth was one of the first places in the nation for a youth in crisis to find shelter and support. The Bridge is located in the Uptown area of Minneapolis. It provides shelter, counseling, and housing to runaway and homeless youth and their families. They are currently in a 7.6 Million Dollar capitol campaign to update a new facility.

Who is Rock the Cause!? We are a collective of volunteers who believe that Rock and Roll has and can still change the world. Our goal is to organize and promote benefit Rock concerts locally to raise money for charities that have an immediate impact on the community. We seek to partner with local businesses and the media so that we can raise maximum support at these events. The charities we choose to work with need public support and awareness. Rock and Roll is a powerful motivator. So we are going to make a big noise. All proceeds raised go directly to the charities that we organize concerts for.

Many local non-profits do not have the time or the resources to put on an event. We hope to be a strong resource for non-profits who want to hold an event that that is about making a big noise. Kick Out The Jams and Rock the Cause!
