Spirit Garage KICKBALL is back! When: Tuesday Nights starting June 20th. Where: Bassett Creek Park, Bryn-Mawr Neighborhood of Minneapolis Cost: $30 for 7+ games and a T-SHIRT! Sign Up: Now until JUNE 4th Back by popular demand, Spirit Garage is fielding a kickball team for the Summer 2006 season. We are planning on playing on Tuesdays starting on June 20th. Games will be held at the Bassett Creek Park located off of 55 and Penn in North Minneapolis (near 394 and about 15 minutes from Uptown). The season consists of 6 regular season games plus playoffs. Games will be played at 6:00, 6:50, or 7:40 each gameday. We need 16 people to play in order to field a full team (preferably 8 guys and 8 girls). Space is limited! | ||

The Twin City Underground is having their Second Lake Street Music Festival on Sunday June 25, 2006 from 2:00 to 9:00 PM., and will have seven bands playing. They have asked for volunteers from Spirit Garage to help with face painting, and basically drawing fake tattoos on the kids. We are looking for volunteers for the weekend of July 8th and 9th to move and add to the sound booth, add desk, and shelf footage at Twin Cities Underground, one of Spirit Garage’s Partners in Giving. We need a crew of three skilled workers and three helpers to make this job happen in a weekend. This is probably a 3-4 hour plus time commitment. It would be nice to have a couple circular saw types on the site that weekend, though there is definitely room for volunteers to hold the smart end of the measuring tape, etc. If you are interested in helping, please contact Rick Gentry at 612.598.8813.
