This isn't a joke, but the reality Rob, Elizabeth, and Terra will be living from July 12-21 as they join the 2008 Bethlehem's High School Summer Mission Trip to Harlem. There are 91 people going to serve 4 Children Ministry Sites and 1 Habitat Site. There probably will be some jokes and stories to tell upon their return, along with some incredible ways God was at work through them and to them. If you want to follow along, feel free to check out the Bethlehem Youth Blog that hopefully will give daily updates. Please keep them (not only Rob, Elizabeth, and Terra, but everyone traveling and everyone they meet) in your prayers, knowing that all of Spirit Garage will be in their prayers.

Sail the Apostle Islands - Thurs. 10/2 - Sun. 10/5. Cost $275.

Spirit Garage will be sailing Thursday, October 2 - Sunday, October 5, 2008.

Picture sailing in one of the most beautiful areas in the world. This is for both people new to sailing and experienced sailors. For New sailors, you just need a willingness to learn. Below is a little bit more about the Apostle Islands and the trip:

Welcome to God's Creation an escape from the Rat Race of Man. Wild landscapes in the greatest of lakes with a dozen of islands to explore. Land of pine and hemlock, eagle and bear. Ancestral home of the Ojibwe people. The nation's finest collection of historic lighthouses. Paradise for campers, boaters, and kayakers. This and more... The Apostle Islands.

SUMMARY:

LOCATION: Come for a LONG WEEKEND in the Apostle Islands on Lake Superior near Bayfield, Wisconsin (Only 4.5 hours from Minneapolis to Northern Wisconsin)

LOCATION: Apostle Islands in Bayfield WI.

DATE: Thursday Night October 2 (Please try to arrive by 10 PM) -
Sunday Afternoon, October 5 (We will depart Bayfield by 5 PM to head home).

EVENTS: Sailing (OF COURSE!), Hiking on the Islands , Visit Lighthouses, Sunday Service on the water.

COST:  $275. plus meals (while not on the boat) and transportation (We encourage carpooling!).

SIGN UP:  $125 Deposit to Spirit Garage required to hold your spot. Nonrefundable after September 20.
